This research line concern the study of high temperature superconducting materials (HTSC) and related materials,
and their application in the microwave domain. Jean-Claude Mage (Thales) and Javier Briatico (CNRS) head this activity.
Three principal axes are developed at the Unité Mixte:
- Digital signal processing and realisation of logical circuits based on Josephson Jonctions HTSC
- Analogic processing of microwave signals based on HTSC. This axis include frequency generation, fixed and tuneable filters, and design of HTSC based receivers.
- Vortex dynamics on HTSC, from dc to microwave
Our team is composed by Jean-Claude Mage, Denis Crété, Bruno Marcilhac, Yves Lemaitre, Maurice
Poulain from Thales, and Javier Briatico, Rozenn Bernard, Javier Villegas and Cecile Carretero, from CNRS.
In the last year, Sabrina Guyard, Rozenn Bernard and Jean-François Allaeys have finished
their PhD in our laboratory. Julien Kermorvant has begun his thesis work, in collaboration
with the LSI (Ecole Polytechnique)
